latchkey blogger

Fixed up an old necklace last week.
I made the key about 12 years ago in a community college jewelry class. We did a lot of casting in silver. The original key used for the casting was a plastic piece for cake decorations. I'd strung the silver version on some mustard colored ribbon which looked great with a sweater I no longer own. I realized I hadn't worn the necklace since the sweater got purged. It now hangs on a length of twill tape.

I'm crazy for twill tape.
